A King Size Bed

A King Size Bed

God chose a little town on a silent night
To be the birthplace of his son and to the world bring Light

Joseph was just a carpenter but he would soon become
The humble earthly father of God’s only Son

It was to lowly shepherds abiding in their fields
Angels came from Heaven and Christ’s birth revealed

God chose a young virgin to be the mother of his son
This girl so meek and mild became the Blessed One

A cold and crude manger was where the baby laid his head
But now we can see in reality it was a king size bed

Have a Blessed Christmas

Thanks again. What a wonderful message and thanks for writing the poem. As usual, Sue is brilliant.
